What will my experience be like?

At First Apostolic Church, we want you to have a powerful church experience. When you arrive at our campus, you can expect to be greeted with a warm welcome and help from our team to find a seat. You will experience dynamic worship, hear testimonies from saints that are life altering, and hear the voice of God through the preaching of the word. The auditorium will open no later than 30 minutes before the start of the service, so plan to arrive in plenty of time to park, head to the sanctuary, and get settled in your seat. If you have children to check into our Sunday School, we encourage you to plan additional time into your schedule.

My first visit.

What about children?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us!

At FAC, your children are a top priority. All of our children’s ministry environments are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry as well as life-changing ministry to students in junior high and high school.

How can i grow?

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. We believe that through consistent church attendance, prayer, and applying preaching you can grow in your faith. We have full time ministry available to help you deal with day to day decisions, and ready to assist you in your walk with God.

What we believe

First Apostolic Church of Mitchell is a church striving to become a 21st Century Apostolic Church. We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

Gifts of the spirit

We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government (Mark 16:15-18, Acts 5:16, 2 Corinthians 12:1-11).

the great commission

We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.

the oneness of god

We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit in the church today).

baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6, Colossians 2:11-14, Acts 2:38).

Receiving the holy ghost

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4).
